The "Sold-out King" of global K-pop sensation BTS has done it again! Hours after BigHit Music announced that BTS star Jungkook is releasing his new solo single in July, the CD for the upcoming track has sold out.
The South Korean record label announced the release of Jungkook's upcoming track Seven on Thursday, June 29. In the post released on the fandom platform WeVerse, the song is described as "an invigorating 'summer song' that is sure to have you experience the full breadth of Jungkook’s charm."
"We hope that 'Seven' will bring your summer fun to the next level," BigHit added. "As Jungkook kicks off his official solo activities, we ask you to extend your utmost anticipation and support for his digital single and many other activities to come."

Twelve hours after BigHit made the announcement, ARMYs wanting to get first dibs on Jungkook's Seven dashed to the record label's U.S. website to pre-order its CD and bought out all the upcoming stocks.
A screenshot of the listed item was shared by the South Korean entertainment website SK Pop on June 30, with the caption, "Seven single CD' for Jungkook's solo debut song has SOLD OUT on #BTS US store within 12 hours of going on pre-order sale!"
"Sold out power of Jeon Jungkook continues as ARMYs await a re-stock!" it added.

It comes as no surprise for ARMYS, as the K-pop idol has been known for having immense power to influence Kookies (his solo stans) in hoarding the same products he usually uses.
During his livestream on Vlive back in March 2021, Jungkook introduced TEAZEN's Kombucha tea to his fans when one of them asked him what he was drinking. A week later, the Korean tea brand revealed that the tea's sales increased by 50%.
Apart from that, the 25-year-old idol was spotted wearing Prada's chunky sole combat boots during one of BTS' live broadcasts. It was not long after when ARMYs wiped out the stocks of the same boots on Parda's website.
The release of Jungkook's new solo single Seven comes eight months after the BTS member collaborated with Qatari artist Fahad Al-Kubaisi for Dreamers, the official theme song of 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
