Here's how much Taylor Swift could earn from 'The Eras Tour,' according to a report

Taylor Swift is reportedly set to make a whopping $4.1 billion (P233 billion) from The Eras Tour.

According to The Washington Post, an estimate by Peter Cohan, an associate professor of management at Babson College, showed that Swift could earn the said amount from her world tour—from the millions she makes in every show combined with her merch sales, which are also notably high.

"That's assuming the pop star ends up keeping the standard artist’s share of roughly 85% of her tour’s revenue," the report read.

The publication explained that the singer's average ticket price is $456 (almost P26,000), adding that when you multiply such amount by the thousands of fans who attend each event, it's simple to understand how the money piles up.

Forbes said that in the United States alone, the first leg of the concert tour reportedly contributed $5.7 billion (P324 billion) to the country's economy and that it "should climb significantly when taking into account all the nations Swift will visit."

Swift announced The Eras Tour in November last year, describing it as a journey through the musical eras of her career thus far. The first leg ran from March 18 to Aug. 5 at stadiums across the US. It has scheduled shows in Singapore and Japan next year, among others.
