Super Junior, WINNER, and other K-pop groups gearing up for comeback in 2022

K-pop fans would know that taking a hiatus is a common practice among Korean boy bands and girl groups. But, admit it, the wait can be frustrating even if you understand what’s taking so long.

If you're a fan of Super Junior, WINNER, Girls Generation, and ENHYPEN, then you're in luck. The moment you’ve been waiting for has come because your idols are returning on stage for their much-awaited comeback.

Read on to find out when and what your biases have prepared for you this year.

Super Junior

Super Junior, the popular 10-member boy group which debuted way back 2005, is set to return with their 11th full-length album The Road: Keep on Going in July.

On June 15, Super Junior surprised their fans with a teaser photo for their next comeback, followed by a series of tweets showing every member’s concept photos.

Prior to their official comeback, Super Junior released their "special single album" The Road: Winter for Spring in February this year.

 WINNER 

WINNER has just dropped a new teaser for their comeback album, marking their official return after two years. Releaed in a tweet on Tuesday, June 21, the poster states that Jinwoo, Seunghoon, Mino, and Seungyoon, are set to come back on July 5.

The long-awaited return of WINNER comes after  the military discharge of members Kim Jin Woo and Lee Seung Hoon. WINNER’s latest album titled Remember was released in April 2020.

Girls’ Generation

Girls’ Generation is ready to make you feel the heat amid this rainy season as they are set to have their comeback this year. The group is preparing to release their new album in August, marking it as a celebration of their 15th anniversary since their debut in 2007.

For members of the group's fandome, SONE, this comeback is a much-awaited return after five years of waiting. The octet's last apperance as a group was in 2017 for their album Holiday Night.

ENHYPEN 

ENHYPEN is officially returning on July 4 for their third mini-album Manifesto: Day 1. It comes six months after the boy group's comeback in January for Dimension: Answer, a repackaged version of their full-length album Dimension: Dilemma

The group has been making rounds on Twitter for their concept photos. In fact, Piatto's trended on the social media site yesterday, June 20, after ENGENES spotted the snack behind one of the the group member’s photos.
