Rebel Wilson opens up about gaining 30 pounds after weight loss due to stress
Rebel Wilson got real about gaining 30 pounds after her weight loss transformation, admitting that it makes her "feel bad" about herself even though she knows "it shouldn't."
The actress opened up about weight regain in an Instagram post on Monday, Jan. 15. "Working really hard has meant that, [because] of all the stress, I've gained 14 kg (30 pounds!" she began. "It makes me feel bad about myself. It shouldn't, but it does."
"I'm really proud of the work I've been doing on new movies and my memoir, it's just been a LOT and I've lost focus on my healthy lifestyle," she opened up.
"Anyone else going through the same thing?" she asked her friends and followers, who were quick to send her some love and encouragement in the comments section.
"You are great and you look even better. Don’t let the doubt in," someone wrote.
Another one reminded her that what she's going through is totally normal. "So normal, Rebel! A doctor once said to me, 'We fluctuate up and down about 10 kg or so our whole lives, it’s normal,' and tbh (to be honest), just hearing that was so freeing."
An Instagram user also reminded her she is loved no matter her size. "It's hard! Everyone is proud of you, but we already loved you, didn’t we? No matter what size, you’re still beautiful and hilarious. Not everyone was meant to be a size two. Certainly don’t feel BAD about it."
Rebel later updated her post and said she has read all their comments. "They bring a tear to my eye," she said.
