TRENDING: 2NE1 reunites onstage with ‘I Am The Best’ at Coachella 2022
This is not a fever dream—2NE1, aka K-pop’s “baddest females,” are back after six years.
The K-pop girl group 2NE1 has reunited for a surprise performance of their 2011 hit song I Am The Best at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival. The members of the now-disbanded quartet shocked fans after appearing during CL’s 88rising set on the second day of the event.
CL, who’s also known as 2NE1’s leader, made a splash at Coachella’s main stage as she performed iconic hits like Hello Bitches and Spicy. By the end of her set, she returned backstage before re-appearing with former bandmates Bom, Dara, and Minzy.

The soloist was also joined by fellow 88rising artists Jackson Wang, BIBI, and NIKI during her set.
2NE1’s reunion comes after their disbandment back in 2016. The girl group previously reunited for a surprise performance at the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) during their hiatus.
2NE1 debuted in 2009 and is considered one of the biggest names in the K-pop industry. The girl group is known for their hit songs like Fire, I Don’t Care, Lonely, Ugly, and Come Back Home.
Since their disbandment, CL, Bom, Dara, and Minzy have been pursuing their solo careers.
