During the question-and-answer segment, Bungay was asked about how one can maintain genuine human connections amid technological advancements in this fast-paced world.

She talked about the importance of being present. "I believe to be empathic is to live in the moment, to make sure that every moment is treasured not on the screen, but in real life," she said, "because only when we have real connections, only when we connect with each other face to face, physically that we can feel each other and then we can experience the fullness of life."

The coronation night was held early Wednesday, Oct. 16 in Albania, where Diana Moreno of Colombia ended up taking home the highly coveted title. She bested 42 candidates at the tilt and was followed by Prada Thansita Dilhokanansakul of Thailand.

Bungay—who was named as this year's Binibining Pilipinas Globe in July—attempted to win the third Miss Globe crown for the country, following Ann Lorraine Colis in 2015 and Maureen Montagne in 2021.

She advocates for the LGBTQ+ community and overseas Filipino workers.
