Icing-smeared server says Alex Gonzaga visited and apologized: 'Ok na po kami'
Allan Crisostomo, the server who got smeared on the face with icing by Alex Gonzaga, revealed that the TV host has apologized to him in person.
Gonzaga drew the ire of netizens as the clip went viral on Jan. 16, with some calling out her "prank" for lacking respect.
"Last January 17, 2023 around 6:30 p.m. nasa work po 'ko. Pumunta po si Ma'am Alex kung saan po 'ko nagwowork then nag-apologize and nag-sorry siya saken," the server wrote in a signed statement shared with ABS-CBN News.
"Tapos konting kwentuhan at sinabi ko po sa kanya na ok na po yung nangyari. Ok na po kami," he continued.
Gonzaga family publicist Peter Ledesma told TV5's MJ Marfori that the waiter is a friend of the vlogger's mother Pinty and the Soriano family.
"Itong si Allan ay laging kabiruan ni Mommy Pinty and Alex at ito ang parating nagse-serve sa kanila. Kaya tuwing nagkikita ay binabati agad ni Allan ang mag-mommy, magiliw ito sa kanila," he defended.
Ledesma also said Gonzaga was not drunk during the party and that she wouldn't smear icing if she didn't know the waiter.
