Other mothers of the new Little Liars cast include Sharon Lea, mom to Tabby (Chandler Kinney), Elena Goode, mother of Noa (Maia Reficco); Carly Pope, Imogen’s (Bailee Madison) mom; and Zakiya Young, Faran Bryant’s (Zaria) mother. The cast was revealed in September last year.
Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin is a reboot of the teen mystery drama series Pretty Little Liars, which ran for seven seasons from 2010 to 2017. The show is based on Sara Shepard’s bestselling novels and originally starred Lucy Hale, Shay Mitchell, Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, Ian Harding, Sasha Pieterse, and Tyler Blackburn.
The seven seasons of Pretty Little Liars told the story of four high school girls threatened by a mysterious “A” persona after the clique’s queen bee went missing. Here, the four teens investigate their leader’s disappearance while they struggle to keep their darkest secrets under wraps.
Now, Original Sin is back with another petrifying plot set 20 years after the events of the original series took place. It will be venturing into a chilling tale involving teenage girls who are haunted and punished by, yet again, another certain “A” or masked assailant for actions they have committed— as well as the “sins” of their mothers two decades back.
The horrific coming-of-age series is written and produced by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Riverdale) and Lindsay Calhoon Bring (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina). Lisa Soper is also set to direct Original Sin’s first two episodes.
