It's definitely a "Golden" era for BTS'Jungkook as the soloist has just teamed up with American pop superstar Justin Timberlake for a surprise collaboration.

On Friday, Nov. 24, BTS' record label, BIGHIT MUSIC, released a new "Justin Timberlake Remix" of Jungkook's recently launched track 3D.

According to South Korean entertainment portal Soompi, BIGHIT MUSIC teased the collab on midnight of Friday and described the remix as one that “enhances the 2000s vibe of the old school sound of the original version, infusing it with a retro charm.”

The groovy '90s vibe track is available for streaming in the Philippines through Apple Music and Spotify. Check it out below.

3D, which features American rapper Jack Harlow, was released on Sept. 29 as part of Jungkook's debut solo album Golden.

BIGHIT MUSIC described the song as "a pop R&B track with clever expressions of feelings toward an unattainable person" and one that would feature the "more mature side of Jungkook." It added that Harlow's "unique rap style" would "add zest to the song."

Apart from Timberlake, Jungkook has previously collaborated with American DJ and record producer MK for another remix of 3D released on Oct. 30. It was launched alongside the David Guetta remix of his track Seven (featuring Latto).

All these tracks were released days before the official debut of Jungkook's Golden on Nov. 3.

Jungkook is the sixth member of BTS to debut solo after the K-pop supergroup went into a hiatus in June 2022 to pursue solo activities and complete South Korea's mandatory military service.

In an update from BIGHIT MUSIC on Wednesday, Nov. 22, the agency announced that Jungkook, alongside fellow members RM, Jimin, and V have initiated their military enlistment process.

The group's "Golden Maknae" later penned a heartfelt letter to their fandom, ARMY, later that day, announcing that he is set to enter the military in December.
