After attending the prestigious Haute Couture Week in Paris, fashion icon Heart Evangelista took a moment to reflect and unpack both her stunning apparel and what she learned during the fashion week in the city of lights.

"You look at my closet and it's excessive, extremely excessive. I guess I was going through a stage where I thought buying all of these things would make you happy, but really, it's just taking photos, enjoying life, and if you do were to invest in something, it should be something that you would love forever," Heart said candidly.

After sharing snippets of her cuddling her dogs in bed and her simple morning routine at home after weeks of jet-setting around different hotel rooms, Heart shared the lessons she learned about just "bringing the basics" and the importance of enjoying life in the moment in a seven-minute video posted on her YouTube channel on Aug. 25.

Heart unveiled some of the stylish outfits and accessories that she got from various luxury fashion houses. These included a beautiful 30 Montaigne Dior Wicker Bag, a comfy dress from Max Mara, and a pair of elegant white boots from Yves Saint Laurent.

After showing the items, the actress and model shared that she always felt a sense of tranquility while packing and unpacking after every trip.

"I love doing that because I'm in this mood where I'm dreaming of what will happen and what can happen, and when I'm here, I'm kind of analyzing and assessing what just happened and taking it all in," she said.

The 37-year-old OOTD queen then admitted that though she used to shop a lot, she recently had a change of heart.

"I would really just spend on stuff that would sing to me until I'm old and gray. I love having luxury items just because I know it's going to last me a lifetime or over a lifetime whoever's going to get it afterwards.

Heart also highlighted that she's giving importance to sustainability lately, "I just want to buy stuff that I know I can use for a really long time, and eventually, if it doesn't sing to me anymore, somebody else can use them."

Netizens were quick to notice how Heart seemed to have a different vibe in her video and flooded her with comments of support and reassurance.

"Heart, I don't wanna assume but this video is totally different from all your other videos. I simply pray and hope that everything is good and well. You're our inspiration, we love watching what you do and always look forward on what's next for you," one viewer commented.

"It may seem that you are living the life of riley but at the end of the day, what matters behind all your earthly possessions is if you are truly happy and if you have peace within your heart and mind. So here’s to hoping that you’ll find your real happiness!" another viewer wrote.

Others said, "It looks like there is a feeling of sadness in your eyes. I may not be as wealthy as you right now, but I've also experienced [being] able to achieve most of the things I like and I thought that will give me happiness, but I realized happiness that comes from luxury and material things are VERY TEMPORARY, after an hour or two, its gone."

Heart ended her video by saying that she tries to make time for herself and unwind despite her busy schedule.

"Be Right Back," the actress captioned her latest Instragram post Friday, Sept. 2 sharing a photo of a "Do Not Disturb" sign from her Paris trip.
