Song Joong-ki, wife Katy Louise Saunders expecting their second child

Song Joong-ki and Katy Louise Saunder are expecting their baby no. 2!

Soompi reported that his agency, HighZium Studio, confirmed the news on Monday, July 8. 

“Actor Song Joong Ki is becoming a father of two,” they said in a brief statement. 

“The expected date of birth is part of his private life so it will be difficult to comment on,” they added, according to the Koreaboo report. 

Joong-ki first announced his marriage to the British actress in January 2023, only a month after confirming their relationship in December 2022. It was also the time when he revealed that they were expecting their first child together. 

They welcomed their firstborn in June of the same year. 

He is known for his roles in TV series and films including Descendants of the Sun, Vincenzo, Space Sweepers, and Reborn Rich, among others. He previously made a cameo in the hit drama Queen of Tears as the Italian mafia lawyer Vincenzo Cassano. 

Meanwhile, Katy was part of films such as Welcome Home, The Lizzie McGuire Movie, A Scandalous Journey, and Los Borgia.
