Sarah Geronimo cancels Pampanga show due to unexpected medical condition
Sarah Geronimo’s supposed concert with Bamboo in SMX Convention Center Clark was rescheduled to a later date as the artist needs to recover from an “unexpected medical condition.”
VIVA Live, Inc., the organizer of the concert, announced the show’s postponement on social media on Sept. 28, three days before the Pampanga visit.
“We regret to inform the fans of Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo that the Pampanga leg of Sarah G x Bamboo tour originally scheduled for Oct. 1 at SMX Convention Center Clark is postponed and will be moved to Oct. 29 (Sunday) instead,” the graphic card read.
“Unfortunately, our Popstar Royalty needs to rest due to an unexpected medical condition. Her health is now our top priority,” the statement added.
In the post's caption, VIVA Live, Inc. advised the fans to “stay tuned for further updates.” Details regarding the singer’s medical conditions were not specifically disclosed.
Meanwhile, Popsters (Sarah's fandom) reassured the pop star of their continued support and sent comforting messages as she took to X (formerly Twitter) her apologies for the postponement.
“Hi guys.. I’m so sorry we have to reschedule our Pampanga show due to medical reasons. Thank you for your support and understanding.. my dear Popsters,” the Popstar Royalty wrote.
Sarah and Bamboo kicked off their provincial tour in Davao last Sept. 22, and were bound to visit Laguna, Cebu, and Pampanga. The duo’s collaboration promises an epic performance for excited fans to experience.
