Sharon Cuneta took the time to express her love for KC Concepcion on social media, saying that she’s “never a second away” from her heart and her thoughts.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Oct. 10, the Megastar shared a photo of one of KC’s letters for her when the latter was still a child.

“I have kept most, if not all of KC’s letters to me when she was small. I hope she was able to somehow keep all of mine, too,” she began. “We have moved houses so many times that I wouldn’t be surprised if lots of them got lost.”

Sharon went on to say that her “baby” is “never a second away” from her heart and her mind. “I miss her terribly,” she wrote.

While KC is now almost in her 40s, the local star said that she still remembers the memories they spent when KC was still a kid. “She’s all grown up now, but the images of her as a little girl are so deeply etched in my brain and will stay there until I take my last breath.”

She expressed her hope that KC’s doing just fine at the moment. “Mama loves you very much. Always and forever. Unconditionally. Whatever happens. Remember that always,” she continued.

KC is the only daughter of Sharon with actor Gabby Concepcion.

Sharon and KC have been open about having a stormy relationship in the past.

In June 2022, KC revealed online that they started to patch things up on their way to a much better space together. “I hear about so many mother-daughters that never get the chance to heal their relationships nor resolve issues, and I feel lonely for them. I’m so thankful we’re able to speak with each other with mutual care and respect, and now talk like girlfriends and found our way back to each other,” she said, adding that "there is nothing like having your own mother’s love.”

In an interview in September this year, KC said she’s hoping that she and her mom could be “best friends” again.

“There’s a lot of years that have gone by na, you know, syempre may mga destructions kami and I know later on in life, we will be better than ever,” she explained without getting into much detail.

KC stressed that her love for her mother will always be there, no matter what. “Hindi mawawala ‘yung pagmamahal namin sa isa’t isa, and siguro, one day, ‘pag ikinasal na ako and ‘pag nagka-anak na ako, I think that would bring my mom and I closer than ever,” she said.
