Angelica Panganiban tearfully recalls isolation from her family due to COVID-19
Angelica Panganiban tearfully recalled her COVID-19 experience, pointing out how painful it was to have been forced to isolate from her baby daughter Amila and her fiance, businessman Gregg Homan to avoid infecting them with the virus.
In her latest YouTube vlog, the new mom couldn't help but shed some tears as she detailed what she went through in her COVID-19 journey.
The 36-year-old actress said she could fight through the sickness, but the entire situation was still difficult and painful for her.
"Hindi ko maalagaan 'yung bata. Hindi ko mahawakan. Parang torture," she said as tears welled up from her eyes.
The local star added that her body pain made things even worse for her. Nahihirapan akong kumain, nahihirapan akong umupo," she said.
COVID-19 left Angelica with a lot of realizations not only about COVID-19 but also the importance of rest. "Baka this is also a reminder na nandiyan pa rin talaga 'yung virus, kailangan pa rin nating mag-take ng precautions, kailangan pa rin nating mag-ingat."
Near the end of the video, Angelica revealed that she has tested negative and is back to breastfeeding her little bundle of joy.
"I'm so happy.
Angelica and Gregg welcomed Baby Amila in September last year. The couple announced they were expecting their first child in March, and shared their baby's gender in a vlog in June.
