WATCH: Pinoy TikTok star Mama Lulu shouts for joy after getting featured on Beyoncé's 'Break My Soul' video
Filipino TikTok star Mama Lulu got the surprise of her life when she was featured on the music video of Beyoncé's 2022 track Break My Soul.
The California-based mom and her son Olly have been giving netizens worldwide their regular dose of laughter through hilarious TikTok videos that Olly has been sharing on his TikTok account (@otakoyakisoba) since 2019.
Some of these videos that he shares with his 16 million followers include those that show Mama Lulu's fondness of certain stars, like the Korean supergroup BTS and, of course, Queen Bey.
The viral clip featured in the intro of Beyoncé's Break My Soul video is the one where Olly pranked his mom and sister that he doesn't like the pop star's new song. Shocked and annoyed, Mama Lulu replied, "Get out of here before I break your soul." It was uploaded last June 23 and has earned 5.7 million views as of writing.
Beyoncé's new music video, meanwhile, was released on Dec. 6 and also included clips of other content creators who bounced to the song, which serves as the debut track to her 2021 album titled Renaissance.
Once Mama Lulu saw the video—a moment Olly filmed and shared on TikTok—the 65-year-old shouted, laughed, and danced in delight.
She later gave a witty thank you speech, with a bottled drink as her mic and Beyoncé's Renaissance Woven Cover Blanket wrapped around her.
She said, "I would like to thank Beyoncé, her mother Tina for having her, and my family." Then she smiles and sternly tells Olly, "Focus the blanket, Oliver."

Olly's followers sure caught Mama Lulu wanting to highlight the blanket, so one user commented, "She said catch the blanket 😂😂😂" To which the TikToker replied, "She didn’t spend $100 and wait 2 months for that blanket to go unnoticed. THIS WAS THEE MOMENT."
Soon after posting the video on TikTok, Olly tweeted, "We love you Beyoncé and we’re so grateful, but the Hive still wants those Renaissance visuals. Let’s talk tickets and have some lumpia soon!"
