'Sobra na po': Seth Fedelin defends on-screen partner Andrea Brillantes from bashers
Seth Fedelin came to friend and on-screen partner Andrea Brillantes' aid as comments about the actress started pouring in on social media after she said yes to Ricci Rivero's public girlfriend proposal.
The actor went on an Instagram Live on April 10 to defend his "friend" from bashers, saying netizens are being "unfair" against Brillantes.
On Twitter, users are bringing up the fact that Brillantes created "unnecessary drama" in January when a photo of Fedelin with fellow "Gold Squad" member Francine Diaz and her family surfaced.
As the photo blew up online, Brillantes shared cryptic posts on Instagram and TikTok, which includes one of her lip-syncing to Selena Gomez's Lose You to Love Me. Fans also noticed that the two Kapamilya actresses unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Three months after the drama, Brillantes got together with UP Fighting Maroons basketball player Rivero, which Fedelin said he supports.

Fedelin and Brillantes were first paired as a love team in ABS-CBN's Kadenang Ginto in 2018. The love team currently stars in Huwag Kang Mangamba, along with other "Gold Squad" actors Francine Diaz and Kyle Echarri, and the musical series Lyric and Beat.
