'The truth shall prevail': Leren Bautista shares another cryptic post after relationship confirmation with Ricci Rivero

Leren Bautista posted another cryptic message on social media after Ricci Rivero confirmed their relationship.

In a Facebook post, the beauty queen-turned-politician posted a quote that read: "A beautiful truth about life is that for every person trying to dim your light, there's another drawn to your glow."

She accompanied it with a caption, where she said that while damage "has been done" and "hurtful words" have been said about her, it won't stop her from doing what's right.

"We rise by lifting others. Not the other way around," she said.

"At the end of the day, people will know, the TRUTH shall prevail," she added.

Bautista previously posted about having "no energy for hate" days after Rivero posted a photo of her and wrote a heartfelt letter about finding “the right one.”

"Hindi tayo magtatago dahil walang dapat ikahiya. Walang nang-agaw at walang inagaw,” he said on Instagram on Oct. 21. “Walang bibitaw dahil masaya tayong magkahawak kamay.”

He promised to “never again live a life manipulated by someone’s fantasy” without naming anyone.

Rivero’s previous relationship with actress Andrea Brillantes started in April 2022. They confirmed their breakup in June this year.

A month before that, Rivero spent his birthday with Bautista in Los Baños in Laguna, where she’s a councilor, and distributed food packs to constituents.

This sparked dating rumors between them, but Bausita denied this and said it was an outreach activity that’s “not an indication of a romantic relationship between them.”

In the coming weeks, Rivero and Bautista would be spotted together in several locations, holding hands in public, jogging in the park, and watching a basketball game.
