Heart Evangelista alludes to stolen contacts for Europe trip: 'Baka kailangan nila'
Fashion icon and actress Heart Evangelista claims that her contacts were allegedly stolen by someone for a Europe trip.
In an Instagram live Q&A session, the Kapuso actress said she was willing to give her contacts if only that person just asked her. Heart expressed her frustration with the incident, saying she worked hard for many years to build contacts abroad.
“Women should support each other. You just ask me. If you asked me for contacts, I would have given it to you,” Heart said.
“Imagine mo, years and years ko siyang trinabaho tapos ganu’n lang? Kinuha lang ‘yung sheet, eh. Pero ganu’n talaga. Baka kailangan nila,” she said.
Heart refused to reveal the person she was alluding to in her social media posts.
When asked by her followers if she was referring to Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, who recently attended the fashion week in both Milan and Paris with some of Heart’s former glam team members, Heart said: "I'm not gonna name names."
"You know, I think everybody naman, lahat naman, pwedeng gawin. I mean, you could do everything and if you like to do it, you can do it. It’s just the way or matter of doing it. That’s the only thing that sucks. Like, I expected more from you know, but I don’t know, ganu’n talaga," she said.
The Kapuso star also expressed her disapointment regarding the persistence of crab mentality in the Philippines.
“Parang kung baga, survival mode na ‘to. And ako, ‘di naman ako kailagang mag-survive. Okay naman ako. I think this is the sad part here in the Philippines. Everybody’s really crab mentality. Like, pwede namang ‘Girl, pwede bang ganyan?’ Sure, why not, no?' Hindi ‘yung ganu’n. Nakaka-turn off. Nakaka-sad,” she added.
Heart previously referred to stolen contacts and shadow bans when responding to a fan who left a comment in one of her Instagram Reels taken in Paris, France in early October as reported by GMA. Shadow bans happen when posts become less visible in the public feed through the actions of third-party developers, including spamming.
“Stolen contacts, black propaganda, hiring a 3rd party to shadow ban my [content] in the end will not matter because I don’t do this for fame,” she replied. “I do this for love and passion.”
The celebrity said she would continue expressing herself through fashion, despite all the negativities surrounding her.
Heart was recently ranked by data and insights company Launchmetrics as the top influencer who generated the highest media impact values amounting to $1.4 million during Milan Fashion Week. The star graced the shows of Versace, Bally, Missoni, Moschino, Tods, Fendi, and more during the said event.
