Selena Gomez unfollows Zayn Malik on Instagram following dating rumors

Selena Gomez unfollowed Zayn Malik on Instagram just a few months after sparking romance rumors.

According to a report by ELLE, the actress' fans noticed that the male singer is no longer on her following list on June 25.

As of June 26, however, Zayn is still following her on the social media platform.

The two fueled dating speculations in March after being spotted together in New York City. The news started going viral on social media after a TikTok user shared that her friend “seated them” at an unnamed restaurant, where the latter saw the rumored pair "walking hand in hand making out.” 

Early this month, the Only Murders In The Building star made it clear that she's single in a TikTok video, where she can be seen joking about her relationship status from the sidelines of a football match.

The actress got linked to Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers in January, but was quick to note that she was single at the time. “I like being alone too much,” she said in an Instagram Story that she later deleted. 

Malik used to be in a relationship with model Gigi Hadid, with whom he shares a 2-year-old child named Khai. They started dating in 2015, but called it quits in 2021.
