Beauty queen-turned-actress Kylie Verzosa hit back at a social media user who criticized her appearance and said she looked prettier in the past.

The TikTok user left a negative comment in the Miss International 2016 titleholder's post where she's seen dubbing a popular video from content creator Davao Conyo about a steak order at a fancy restaurant.

The Internet user commented in the thread, "Mas maganda pa rin nung natural pa." To which, Kylie responded, "Never ka naman maganda."

Kylie is not one to back down from bashers who usually leave negative comments about her looks on social media.

Last April, she spoke up against those who were shaming her "skinny" body and accusing her of having eating disorders after she posted a "Get Ready With Me" video on her Instagram account. Some noted how she was too "thin" for their liking, going as far as to say that she was unhealthy while others took it a step further by saying that she was suffering from anorexia, which is an eating disorder characterized by an abnormally low body weight.

In her response, Kylie criticized the backward mentality of her bashers and urged them to do better than shame one's body. "The amount of hate I'm getting for my face and body is absurd, and it's only in the Philippines. Can you guys step up? We're behind in so many things already and still we're putting people down for the way we look," Kylie wrote in the comments section.

Kylie, in January, also defended herself from body shamers when similar comments about her looking "too skinny" were left on some of her vacation photos.

Kylie is the sixth Pinay to win the Miss International crown in 2016. After her reign, she starred in various TV and movie projects including Elevator (2024), Penduko (2023), Sisid (2022), and among others. She recently launched her own shapewear brand, SOLÁ.
