Andi Eigenmann to launch new cafe and surf shop in Siargao: 'We've turned another dream into reality'
Andi Eigenmann is crossing out an item on her bucket list as she announced that she is set to launch a new business venture in Siargao.
"We've been cooking up something special! Stoked to announce that we've turned another dream into reality," the former actress wrote on her Instagram as she shared pictures teasing the opening of their new cafe and surf shop on the island!
The business appears to have been inspired by Andi's passion for nutrition and her journey to living a healthy lifestyle.
"Those who know me well, no how deep I dove into the whole science of nutrition when I first went on this healthful journey. I love coming up with new ideas to present nutrient-dense meals in an exciting and yummy way," she wrote, adding that they've managed to come up with a great menu for their customers.
She expressed her gratitude to her fiancé, Philmar Alipayo, for motivating her to press forward with the business.
"Thanks so much mahal for this push. Wouldn't have done it without your trust in me. Literally!" Andi highlighted.
This isn't the first time that the couple ventured into business in their life on the island. They previously opened a bar on the island called Barbosa Siargao as well as a snack bar called Kanaway Snack Bar.
The soon-to-open business was also teased on the account of their surf club, Happy Islanders Surf Club.
"We aren't only opening a physical shop and surf school, we'll be serving nourishing food and drinks very soon too!" the caption read.
In a separate post, Andi also teased pictures of some of the items from their menu, which included smoothie bowls and fresh juices.
"We've experimented on different ways to present them, for something new and refreshing! Can't wait for you guys to try them," Andi wrote. "Our juices will be having some pulp by the way, to keep them rich in fiber!
Andi moved to Siargao in 2017 and has since been sharing about their island life with her champion surfer fiance. The couple welcomed their daughter Lilo in 2019, and son Koa in 2021. She also shares a 12-year-old daughter named Ellie with actor Jake Ejercito.
Andi often shares their journey as a family on their YouTube channel dubbed "Happy Islanders."
