BLACKPINK Jennie and BTS V spark dating rumors after being seen together in a photo
It seems that rumors on whether BLACKPINK’s Jennie and BTS member V are in a relationship have surfaced once again after a photo of them together had spread all over social media.
The now-viral photo shows V getting his hair and make-up done by a stylist while Jennie is standing in the back taking a mirror picture of them, as per K-pop news site KpopStarz.
While it’s unconfirmed that V and Jennie are in the photo, many netizens are convinced that they are the two idols as their facial features bear a close resemblance to them.
The source of the picture is also anonymous, but some believe that it came from Jennie’s private Instagram account. This, however, did not sit well with some who wanted to respect Jennie's privacy.
"So you’re telling me someone who Jennie trusted enough to let follow her on her private Instagram account exposed her? I'm genuinely so disgusted right now," one user wrote.

Another user tweeted, "I'm not sure if the photo of Jennie and Taehyung is real or not. But if it is edited, that's disrespectful. If it is real, Army and Blinks should not even be throwing hate at Jennie or V, they should be worried about the person who has access to this unseen pic."

Some fans have aired their opinions on social media regarding the rumors. One Twitter user urged other people to not meddle into their personal affairs.
"Jennie and V are both adults and they can date whoever they want. Don't throw hate to any of them, protect them instead. LET THEM BE HAPPY. And c'mon, they're both successful artists. If they're dating, let them be the hottest couple out there. BE PROUD AND HYPE THEM PLEASE," they wrote.

Another user said that they fully support Jennie if she is happy being together with V and urged other fans to do the same.
"If Jennie is happy with V, I will support her, because I am a fan, and I am always here to support her. That’s what BLINKS should do, not hate on either of them just because they have a life outside of the entertainment industry," they wrote.

In response to the allegations, BLACKPINK’s agency YG Entertainment made a brief comment regarding the involvement of Jennie and V.
“BLACKPINK will depart the country on Aug. 25, and they will be busy taking on a tight schedule in the United States including the MTV Video Music Awards performance as well as promotional activities for their second full-length album,” a YG representative said, per a translation from Soompi.
To recall, V and Jennie have been embroiled in relationship rumors after they were reportedly photographed together on vacation in Jeju in May 2022. The photo, however, fell into the subject of debate between fans whether it’s edited.
V debuted as the visual, lead dancer, and sub-vocalist of BTS in June 2013.
Meanwhile, Jennie has been making waves as the main rapper and lead vocalist of BLACKPINK since August 2016.
