'The Glory' actor Kang Gil Woo marries non-showbiz girlfriend: reports
South Korean actor Kang Gil Woo, who appeared in the acclaimed 2022 Netflix series The Glory, married his non-showbiz girlfriend over the weekend.
Outlets like Soompi and Koreaboo reported the news.
Woo's agency Noon Company, in a statement on Oct. 13, said, "Kang Gil Woo held his wedding ceremony with a non-celebrity on October 12.”
The reported wedding came as a surprise to fans, especially since the 37-year-old actor hasn't made his relationship status public.
Koreaboo shared Instagram Story entries from him, which showed Woo and his wife during the ceremony held outdoors.
Woo can be seen wearing a black suit and a bowtie, while his wife wore a short-sleeved gown.
Allkpop also compiled screenshots of Instagram Stories from the wedding guests, who are apparently not from the entertainment industry.
The Glory revolves around a woman named Moon Dong-eun who suffered bullying and physical abuse in high school. She has since dedicated her life to exacting revenge against her bullies and their accomplices.
Woo portrayed Kim Soo Han, Moon's senior.
He also starred in shows like Revenant, My Dearest, and Welcome to Sandal-ri, as well as movies like Broker, Contorted, and Uprising.
Aside from acting, Woo is also a singer.
