Andrea Brillantes' mom, Belle, says there's so much hate going on amid daughter's involvement in cheating rumors

Belle Brillantes, Andrea Brillantes’ mom, said there’s so much hatred going on, amid rumors that her daughter was the cause of the breakup of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.

In an Instagram post, Belle wrote, “So much hatred in the net these days. We turned into [a] bunch of savages. Spread all that hate and lies, [this] negativity will not break my spirit..” 

She added that she is thankful that her family is healthy and that she is surrounded by people who have “love and compassion.”

“Hate is baggage, life is too short to be angry all the time," Belle said. “[B]ahala kayo dyan lahat magkagulo.” she added.

A social media user in the comments section directed criticism towards Belle’s parenting.  

Belle, a four-time national record holder in freediving, replied by enumerating Andrea’s accomplishments, saying the 20-year-old actress was able to send her siblings to school, was able to build a house and runs her own business. She also slammed the basher asking, “Ikaw anong ambag mo sa mundo?” 

In an Instagram story, she playfully addressed the double standard of some of her followers who both criticized and followed her. 

“People criticizing me, bashing me but started following me lol. I don’t get the hate and follow can be the same thing,” Belle wrote as is.

Last Nov. 30, Kathryn and Daniel, collectively known as KathNiel, announced their separation after 11 years of being together. Before the announcement, talent manager Ogie Diaz, in his vlog, mentioned the name of Andrea, who’s supposedly secretly meeting with Daniel.

Andrea, Daniel, and Kathryn have yet to comment on the issue.
