Are you a fan of D.O.?

You can soon see Doh Kyung Soo in his first villain role as he's in talks to star in a new thriller drama with K-drama star Ji Chang Wook

According to a Nov. 13 report by Korean entertainment site Soompi, D.O’s agency Company Soosoo and Ji Chang Wook’s management Spring Company said in a joint statement that the two are “positively reviewing” the new revenge drama dubbed Sculptured City.

The upcoming thriller drama follows the story of an ordinary man (Ji Chang Wook) who is out for revenge after his life turned upside-down after being “manipulated” by a designer (D.O). If this pushes through, this will be D.O.’s first antagonist role.

The series will reportedly be directed by Kim Chang Joo of the 2021 thriller film Hard Hit and will be written by Oh Sang Ho, who helmed the thriller series Taxi Driver and action film The Roundup. According to industry insiders, the upcoming drama will have a 35 billion won (over P1.4 billion) production cost.

D.O. made his acting debut in 2014. He's best known for his roles in TV series and films Bad Prosecutor, 100 Day My Prince, My Annoying Brother, and The Moon. Apart from being an actor, he's also a member of iconic K-pop group EXO.

Ji Chang Wook, meanwhile, is famous for his roles in Smile Again, K2, Suspicious Partner, Backstreet Rookie, and The Worst of Evil.
