Rihanna gives birth to baby no. 2
Rihanna is on cloud nine now that she has welcomed a new addition to her family!
The singer-songwriter became a mother of two after she gave birth to her second son with rapper A$AP Rocky on Aug. 3 in Los Angeles.
While the couple has yet to disclose the name of their bundle of joy, a source close to Rihanna told PEOPLE that the glowing mother "feels her family is now complete" and "it’s something she’s always wanted."
She previously displayed her love for her family when she posted a picture of her husband having some quality time with their first son in a pool, captioning the post: "my Bajan boyz…"
Rihanna first made her second pregnancy public during her Super Bowl halftime performance—her first live show in seven years—back in February this year.
She was seen rubbing her stomach several times during the act, where she rocked a red jumpsuit and a custom red breastplate.
At the time, an insider told PEOPLE that the artist was "super excited to confirm" her pregnancy during the Super Bowl halftime, saying that she "has so many things she is grateful for. She is ecstatic about how her show went. She felt great about performing again."
Since then, she has been cherishing her time as a blooming mother of two, with a source sharing that she "loves being a mom so this is where her mind is at the moment. She is the happiest she has ever been."
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed their first son in May last year. According to the birth certificate obtained by several US media outlets, the couple named him RZA Athelston Mayers, which pays homage to Robert Fitzgerald Diggs or "RZA," the leader of the American hip-hop collective Wu-Tang Clan.
