BTS' Jungkook teams up with David Guetta, MK for 'Seven' and '3D' remixes
BTS star Jungkook is roaring up at full throttle toward the launch of his debut solo album GOLDEN. The latest development on his much-anticipated release is that the K-pop idol is teaming up with globally acclaimed DJs for the remixes of his new tracks.
On Oct. 28, BTS' record label BIGHIT MUSIC announced that Jungkook is collaborating with producers David Guetta and MK to remix his recently released tracks, Seven (featuring Latto) and 3D (featuring Jack Harlow).
South Korean entertainment portal Soompi reported that the record label described David Guetta's remix of Seven as "[a remix that] transforms the original track into an electrifying electronic dance genre… [and] accentuates the song’s energy with rhythmic keyboard sounds and a unique drop-section melody."
MK's remix of 3D is meanwhile expected to be "a reinterpretation of the original track in the danceable house genre... it captivates listeners with its catchy and repetitive sound.”
Both remixes will drop on Oct. 30, four days ahead of GOLDEN's release on Nov. 3, at 1 p.m. KST (12 p.m. PHT). They will also be included in Jungkook's upcoming solo album, according to BIGHIT MUSIC.
Apart from his much-awaited solo studio album, Jungkook is treating ARMYs to his first-ever solo concert next month.
Titled "GOLDEN Live On Stage," the concert will be held at the Jangchung Arena in Seoul on Nov. 20, at 8 p.m. KST (7 p.m. PHT) and will be livestreamed for fans who couldn't attend the event in person.
Jungkook is the sixth member of BTS to debut solo after the K-pop supergroup went into a hiatus to pursue solo activities in June 2022.
