Emmy award-winning actor Billy Miller dies at 43
Emmy award-winning actor Billy Miller has passed away. He was 43.
His manager confirmed the news to several outlets including Variety, saying that he died on Sept. 15 in Austin, Texas. "The actor was struggling with manic depression when he died," the statement read. The cause of his death was not specified.
Miller's representative noted that Sept. 17 would have been the star's 44th birthday.
He is survived by his mother Patricia, sister Megan, brother-in-law Ronnie, nephew Grayson, and niece Charley.
According to E! News, the actor debuted in the entertainment scene in 2006 on CSI: NY, which was followed by another TV role on All My Children that ran until 2008. He later became the fourth actor to play Billy Abbott on The Young and the Restless, which made him win three Daytime Emmys. Miller left the show in 2014 and was on General Hospital as Jason Morgan until 2019.
He also appeared in other shows like Suits, Ray Donovan, and Justified.
