2024 has been a year of overflowing love and joy for many celebrities as they welcomed their little ones into the world.

This year saw a significant number of first-time parents embarking on a new chapter of their lives. These include Maja Salvador and Rambo Nuñez, Alodia Gosiengfiao and Christopher Quimbo, and Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo, among others.

Kristine Hermosa, who gave birth to her sixth child at 40, is among the many inspiring stories, too.

Check out the list of celebrity babies who were born this year.

Maria (Maja Salvador and Rambo Nunez)

Maja Salvador gave birth to baby Maria on May 31 in Canada after an "intense" 30-hour labor.

On Instagram, Maja recounted her "challenging" pregnancy experience, saying that she experienced uterine inversion where three doctors had to "put back my uterus manually" leading to blood loss.

"Sinabihan na lang ako ng Doula ko na anytime I would have to go to the operating room for surgery," she said, adding that the one of her doctors was able to reposition her uterus successfully.

Maja announced her pregnancy with Rambo Nuñez's baby in December through a festive Christmas-themed video where they displayed a sonogram on the Christmas tree.

Madeleine Sophia (Janine Tugonon)

In October, former beauty queen Janine Tugonon welcomed her baby girl, Madeline Sophia.

"Bonjour Madeleine Sophia. Thank you Lord for a healthy baby, positive birth experience and so far a great CS recovery. You Lord always got my back and Your grace is sufficient. 🙏🏼 #toGodbetheglory," she wrote.

Janine is currently living in the UK with her partner. She would often share about her motherhood journey on Instagram.

Riley Nicholas (Dani Barretto and Xavi Panlilio)

Dani Barretto gave birth to Riley Nicholas James, her second baby with husband Xavi Panlilio, last Oct. 25.

On Instagram, Dani shared how she would sometimes experience postpartum depression and thanked those who supported her.

"PPD sometimes hits me, when it does I just pray. It's an everyday battle that we have to keep fighting. I appreciate those who check up on not only Riley, but also me. I’ll never forget it," she said.

Ellen Adarna and Derek Ramsay's baby

Ellen Adarna and Derek Ramsay welcomed their first baby together in October.

Recently, Ellen replied to a social media user who asked why she’s covering her baby’s face in the pictures she’s posting on social media.

Ellen simply said, “To avoid evil eye.”

Derek made the surprise announcement on Oct. 23, sharing a photo of his wife in a hospital bed holding their little ray of sunshine, with Elias by their side.

Ria and Zanjoe Marudo's baby

2024 was indeed a memorable year for Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo, who got married and became parents this year.

Ria reportedly gave birth early Monday, Sept. 23. Details about the couple’s first child, which was previously revealed to be a baby boy, have yet to be disclosed.

The couple tied the knot in a civil wedding in Quezon City with Mayor Joy Belmonte as the officiant on March 23, a little over a month after announcing their engagement in February.

They first sparked dating rumors in August 2022, but officially confirmed their romance in January 2023.

Isaiah Timothy (Kristine Hermosa and Oyo Boy Sotto)

Kristine Hermosa is proof that motherhood at 40 is possible when she and her husband Oyo Boy Sotto, welcomed baby number six on Sept. 4.

She announced her pregnancy in February, opening up about how she was hopeful but didn't expect to have another child.

"Funny as it may seem, but I still get those butterflies [every time] I see double lines on the [pregnancy test], kahit pa na ang dami na nila, parang laging [first] time. [Iba't ibang] level ng overwhelming emotions each stage of every pregnancy. Ibang level din when you can already see and hear the heartbeat. Iba lang talaga ang peace and joy pag galing kay God," she said.

Kristine and Oyo have five other children: their oldest, Kiel, who was adopted, as well as Ondrea, Kaleb, Marvin, and Vittorio Isaac. The couple welcomed their youngest, Vittorio, in August 2021.

Yam Concepcion and Miguel CuUnjieng's baby

Yam Concepcion and Miguel CuUnjieng became parents to a healthy baby this year.

Early this month, Yam shared a compilation of clips showing her pregnancy journey, which she called "the best nine months." The last part of the IG reel showed videos of them with their newborn in a stroller.

It was in July when she shared the good news by posting a series of photos from their trip to the Bahamas with the caption: "Stingrays, turtles, pigs and a bump."

Miguel, for his part, called Yam his "dream come true," expressing his excitement for all their "future adventures" as a couple.

Timothy (Maxine Medina and Timmy Llana)

Actress and former beauty queen Maxine Medina and Timmy Llana gave a "first glimpse" of their baby boy back in August.

During his Christening, Maxine wrote a short but heartfelt message to her son. "We pray for God’s guidance and blessings to always surround you. May you grow with a heart full of kindness, strength, and unwavering faith. Mama and Dada are beyond grateful to have you in our lives—you are truly our greatest blessing. You are so deeply loved, my little one," she said.

Maxine and Timmy announced their pregnancy in February this year. They shared they were expecting a baby boy when they had a gender reveal celebration using a smoke fountain containing blue-colored smoke.

They tied the knot in October 2023 and held another wedding ceremony in Palawan in the same month.

Cameron (Alodia Gosiengfiao and Christopher Quimbo)

Cosplayer and gamer Alodia Gosiengfiao and husband Christopher Quimbo welcomed Player Number 3 in November.

Alodia announced late that month that she and Christopher welcomed Cameron, their first child, into the world.

The couple tied the knot in a grand, fairytale-like ceremony on Valentine's Day in 2023. They got engaged in July 2022, four months after they started dating.

A few months after getting married, the two expressed their desire to start a family in a vlog, with Alodia saying she's hoping to have "one girl, one boy."

Penelope Eloise (Dominique Cojuangco and Michael Hearn)

Dominique Cojuangco Hearn added "'full-time parent' to my LinkedIn (profile)" in May after giving birth to her first daughter with her husband Michael Hearn.

In her first post announcing the delivery, she wrote, "Five two-hour lipid IV drips and two-hundred and forty-two Heparin injections, but I’ve enjoyed every minute of my pregnancy."

"Michael and I are delighted to welcome our little wiggler from inside my womb. Thank you, Lord," she added.

The couple got engaged in 2021 before they tied the knot in a lavish wedding on March 4, 2023 at the San Agustin Church in Manila, which was followed by a reception at the National Museum of Natural History.

Azena Sylvia (Angeline Quinto and Nonrev Daiquina)

Angeline Quinto now has a mini-me.

The singer announced that she welcomed her second bundle of joy, Sylvia, with her non-showbiz husband Nonrev Daquina on Aug. 14.

She shared she was expecting a baby when she hopped on the Piliin Mo Ang Pilipinas TikTok trend with a video that revealed her baby bump.

The couple also has a son named Sylvio, whom they welcomed in 2022.
