Agencies deny romance rumors between 'King the Land' stars YoonA and Junho
King the Land co-stars YoonA and Junho, through their respective agencies, have denied the dating rumors between them.
The Korean stars made the rounds online on the morning of July 3 after a local media outlet reported that they have been in a relationship even before they started filming their hit K-drama series.
According to a report by K-entertainment site Soompi, their management companies said the romance speculations are "not true" in separate statements.
“The two are just close and the dating rumors are not true,” said YoonA's agency SM Entertainment.
Junho's agency, JYP Entertainment, meanwhile, said: "Upon checking [with Junho], the dating rumors are groundless."
Junho is part of boy band 2PM, while YoonA is a member of iconic group Girls’ Generation. They both eventually got into acting and became part of several K-dramas—the former in Good Manager, Rain or Shine, and The Red Sleeve; and the latter in Big Mouth, The K2, and Confidential Assignment.
They are now starring in King the Land, which revolves around an heir that “clashes with his hardworking employee who’s known for her irresistible smile—which he cannot stand,” according to Netflix. It placed second on the streaming platform’s global Top 10 list for non-English shows.
