Rocky, a member of the K-pop group ASTRO, has officially left the boy band.

According to Korean entertainment site Soompi, the group's agency Fantagio confirmed the news on Feb. 28, saying that Rocky has also decided to leave the management following the expiration of his contract.

"We thank Rocky for doing his utmost for a long time as a member of ASTRO," Fantagio said, "and we will be sincerely rooting for Rocky in the future."

The rest of ASTRO will be continuing their activities as a five-member group, though will be focusing on unit and solo engagements for the time being.

"We ask that you continue to give the ASTRO members lots of interest and support," the agency told the group's fans.

ASTRO debuted in 2016 with MJ, Jinjin, Cha Eun-woo, Moon Bin, Yoon San-ha, and Rocky.

Their debut single, Hide and Seek, made them part of Billboard's 10 Best New K-pop Groups that year.

The group is also known for their hit songs All Night, Knock, One, and After Midnight.
