Olivia Rodrigo to perform at 2023 VMAs
It seems like deja vu after Olivia Rodrigo was announced to perform at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards.
MTV shared that the Fil-Am singer-songwriter is set to perform at the prestigious music awards at New Jersey’s Prudential Center on Sept. 12.
She will join the likes of Niki Minaj, Anitta, Demi Lovato, Doja Cat, Karol G, Kelsea Ballerini, Lil Wayne, Måneskin, Shakira, Stray Kids and TOMORROW X TOGETHER.
Olivia is also nominated in six categories for her song vampire, including Video of the Year, Song of the Year, Song of the Summer, Best Pop, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing.
Last 2021, the 20-year-old singer made an impact on her performance of her song good 4 u on the VMA stage. She also tied for the most Moon Persons with 3 award wins for Best New Artist, Push Artist and Song of the Year.
Olivia shattered records with her previous 4x Platinum debut album, SOUR for being the fastest album in history to have all its songs certified RIAA Platinum or higher.
Her highly anticipated new album GUTS was released on Sept. 8 at 12 midnight. The album featured her hit singles Vampire, Bad Idea Right?, and 10 brand new songs. She also said that she will release a deluxe version of her album featuring 16 songs in total.
