BTS member J-Hope has given fans a much-awaited life update while serving his mandatory military term.

The K-pop boy group's main dancer revealed through the band's official account on global fandom life platform Weverse that he has completed his basic military training while sharing new photos of him in uniform.

"I will work hard for the rest of my military service and show you a good image! I love you!!" J-Hope addressed his fans.

He likewise acknowledged receipt of the many letters and gifts from fans.

"ARMYs!!! Well done. The letters and support you sent me were really helpful and I was able to train hard!!!" J-Hope thanked.

Meanwhile, BTS' leader RM commented on J-Hope's post: "You worked hard, Hobah!!!"

BigHit Music, the music label of BTS, has since thanked fans for their support, updating that J-Hope is now "performing his duties responsibly at the training camp."

However, the agency advised ARMYs not to send letters and gifts to the BTS member even after he finishes his military recruit training and gets stationed at his assigned military base. It advised fans to instead leave messages on Weverse using the hashtag #Dear_jhope_from_ARMY. That way, it can assist in ensuring that J-Hope is able to see all of their words of support.

"If a large number of letters and gifts from the fans arrive at the center all at once, it would be difficult to store them and they could be easily lost. We ask that you please refrain from sending anything by mail," BigHit posted.

The music label also asked for ARMYs' cooperation during J-Hope’s recruit training graduation ceremony by not visiting the site "in order to prevent any issues that might occur from crowding."

"We ask for your continued love and support for J-Hope until he finishes his military service and comes back. Our company will also strive to provide every support he needs during this time," BigHit concluded.
