Sandra Lemonon, Sol Mercado tie the knot in Bali

Beauty queen Sandra Lemonon and former PBA star Sol Mercado are officially Mr and Mrs!

The destination wedding was held last Sept. 8 at Wonderland Uluwatu in Bali, Indonesia an events place spanning a vast expanse of oceanfront cliff-top on the southern coastline of Bukit Peninsula.  

Nice Print Photography shared a reel on Instagram capturing the newlyweds’ moments—from the ceremony itself to the couple dancing against a stunning backdrop of the untouched beaches of Nunggalan and Nyang-Nyang.   

The Mercados’ reception captures the tropical Indonesian paradise, serving tacos, coconuts engraved with the couple’s name, and Balinese cocktails.   

It was also brimming with wedding inspirations, such as replacing table numbers with popular travel destinations, imprinting painted fingerprints for the guest book, and having a paint station and a bouncy house for kids and those young at heart.   

The intimate outdoor wedding was attended by their friends and family. The guests include Filipino celebrities such as Catriona Gray, Benjamin Alves, Chelsea Robato, and KC Montero, to name a few. 

After keeping their relationship private, Sol and Sandra publicly announced their engagement and pregnancy in March 2022. Their son, Zaiah Rafael Mercado, was born last June 21, 2022.
