Celebrities who debuted their baby bumps at Met Gala 2023
It's no secret that stars know how to make a statement on the red carpet for their show-stopping fashion looks, but some choose to make bigger statements, exposing their baby bumps.
Two soon-to-be mommas have announced their pregnancies and showed off their fab maternity styles on the red carpet of Met Gala on May 1.
Serena Williams, who is expecting baby no. 2, shared some snaps from her pre-Met Gala photo shoot, alongside her husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.
"Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala," the professional athlete wrote.
She also told TV personality La La Anthony on the red carpet that she is "feeling good" and "can breathe" now that she is "not hiding" her baby bump.
Serena is seen cradling her baby bump in a black and white Gucci gown, styled by Kesha McLead.
Meanwhile, Karlie Kloss, who is also pregnant with her second baby, arrived at the The Metropolitan Museum of Art wearing a floor-length black Loewe gown.
Speaking to Vogue's correspondent Emma Chamberlain, the supermodel said that she was last pregnant during the pandemic and so she does not know "how to style a belly."
She did a good job though, accessorizing her body-hugging dress with pearls and slicked back pony.
"This is the most important night in fashion, of course," Karlie told Entertainment Tonight. "I'm honestly surprised I could keep it a secret this long."
Karlie came with her husband Joshua Kushner. They welcomed their first son, Levi Joseph, in 2021.
