Ben Affleck reportedly staying in separate house in Los Angeles amid breakup rumors with Jennifer Lopez

Celebrity couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are caught in breakup rumors—even as the former was reportedly spotted staying at a separate house in Los Angeles.

TMZ reported that the actor was photographed driving in the Brentwood neighborhood in the morning, appearing to be riding solo.

Citing an unnamed source, the entertainment outlet said he wasn’t seen with Lopez the night before. It also noted that Affleck was seen staying in the Brentwood house over the past week or so.

A photo from TMZ, however, showed Affleck wearing his wedding ring while his arm was dangling out the car window.

Lopez, for her part, was also still wearing her wedding ring in public appearances, the most recent of which was the Met Gala which she attended alone.

Her lone appearance in the fashion event, where she served as co-host, reportedly fueled the rumors.

A source told TMZ that Affleck was busy filming for his upcoming movie The Accountant 2, but raised speculations for being present for Tom Brady’s Netflix roast, which was filmed the night before the Met Gala.

Lopez was also seen house hunting with her longtime producing partner Elaine Goldsmith-Tomas in Beverly Hills, where she and Affleck have a house.

Eagle-eyed social media users also noticed she recently liked an Instagram post from a relationship coach who, in text images, said that one cannot build a healthy relationship with someone who lacks integrity and emotional safety, doesn't respect yiur time, lacks effective communication skills, and doesn't know who they are or what they want.

"You can’t build a relationship with someone who is disconnected from themselves. We can’t expect someone to see us when we can’t even see themselves," the post's caption read. "Getting in a relationship is the easy part. Nurturing & fostering it is a different story. After all, love is not a feeling, it’s action," it read.

Affleck and Lopez, known to fans as "Bennifer," started their romance in 2002, but called off their engagement two years later. They started their own families with other partners.

Bennifer reunited in 2021, or two decades after their split, and married twice: an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas and a formal affair in Georgia in 2022.

The couple was last seen together in March.

Affleck and Lopez’s representatives have yet to address the rumors.
