If there’s one word that describes Wooga Squad down to a tee, it’s charming.

It’s rare to see Korean celebs who are open about their friendship with no reservations, and Wooga Squad is one of the lucky few. The squad—composed of BTS’ V, Park Seojoon, Choi Wooshik, Park Hyungsik, and Peakboy—are iconic as individuals yet seeing their strong bond is such a heartwarming sight.

If you have no idea on who Taehyung is, you probably live under a rock. Because his handsome face is enough to steal your attention from a mile away.

Kim Taehyung, also known as V, debuted as the visual, lead dancer, and vocalist of BTS in June 2013. This dashing and multi-talented idol is described as the “secret weapon” of the group as he wasn’t revealed until their debut teasers have been dropped. And he definitely lived up to the title throughout his career. He’s also been making a name for himself as a potential “K-drama OST king” with his slew of easy-to-listen tracks and as a fashion icon with a unique sense of style.

Park Seojoon

Tall, charismatic, and jokingly referred to by Pinoy fans as the “Higop King”—Park Seojoon is definitely one of the hottest Korean actors of this generation.

Seojoon’s first foray into the entertainment scene was in a music video for the 2011 song, I Remember. He started out in supporting roles and branched out to leading man status in 2014. The actor eventually achieved his career breakthrough in 2015 after starring in the K-dramas Kill Me, Heal Me and She Was Pretty. A multi-awarded star, he’s praised for his ability to create chemistry with his co-stars—making every romance, friendship, and family bond feel real. Some of his upcoming projects include The Marvels, Concrete Utopia, Gyeongseong Creature, and more.

Choi Wooshik has the looks, smoldering gaze, acting range, and talent for choosing high-quality projects.

Before he made fans recall their first loves in SBS’ Our Beloved Summer, you might’ve seen him play supporting roles in K-drama classics You Are My Destiny, Rooftop Prince, Shut Up Family, and Pride and Prejudice. He’s also a multi-talented actor with 11 acting awards and over 20 nominations under his belt. Some of his biggest roles to date include Yongguk in Train To Busan, Kim Kiwoo or Kevin in Parasite, and Choi Ung in the SBS rom-com.

Park Hyungsik

There are many idol-turned-actors in the Hallyu world, but Park Hyungsik is one of the elite few who passed with flying colors.

Hyungsik debuted as the main vocalist and visual of ZE:A in January 2010. His high voice is one of the most integral parts in the boy group’s songs, especially since he belts his heart out at the bridge and chorus. The talented multi-hyphenate soon dipped his toes into theatre and acting where he that he’s more than just a pretty face. Whether he’s gazing lovingly at his leading lady or going all out with his emotions in musicals, he’s a shining star that deserves attention.

A gem in the music industry, Peakboy’s songs are a candid display of real life.

As a singer-songwriter, Peakboy created music that deals with his thoughts and experiences. Even the most mundane parts of his day. His songs are often described as trendy such as Gyopo Hairstyle, which talks about dancing and working with my “hair that flutters.” The artist is a gem in singing and rapping and often cites Korean musicians Yoon Sang and Yoo Heeyeol as his idols.
