BTS' Jimin to reportedly release his solo album in February
Prepare your purple hearts, Jimin stans, as February is looking to be the start of the BTS member's solo era.
According to a report by the Korean newspaper Sports Donga, Jimin’s solo album is set to be released in February. If it goes as planned, Jimin's solo debut will come almost a month after the BTS vocalist and dancer collaborated with Big Bang's Taeyang on the latter's comeback single titled "Vibe."
Shortly after the report made rounds online, BTS' talent agency, BigHit Music, released a brief statement to XportNews and MyDaily that neither confirmed nor denied the rumors.
BigHit told the portals that they are “currently coordinating schedules with regards to BTS Jimin’s solo and will share more details once finalized.”
Prior to Jimin, other BTS members made their solo debuts: leader RM with his hit album Indigo, J-Hope's Jack In The Box, and Jin’s collaboration song with Coldplay titled "The Astronaut."
Prior to Jimin’s collaboration with BigBang’s Taeyang, he worked with Ha Sung-woon on the song With You, the official soundtrack for the Korean drama Our Blues. The track peaked at the number one spot on Billboard’s US Digital Songs Sales chart.
In September 2022, Jimin also released his photo folio Me, Myself, and Jimin ‘ID : Chaos.
