Andrew Scott joins cast of 'Knives Out 3'
Andrew Scott is the newest addition to the cast of the upcoming mystery-crime film, Knives Out 3.
According to a report by Variety, the Fleabag actor will star in the third installment of the film, which is dubbed Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery and is slated for 2025 release. More details about his character have yet to be unveiled.
Other confirmed cast includes Josh O’Connor from the film Challengers and Cailee Spaeny from Priscilla. Daniel Craig, meanwhile, will reprise his role as Detective Benoit Blanc.
Also returning in the production is the duo Rian John and Ram Bergman, with John as the writer and director, and Bergman as the producer of the third film.
Additional details about the plot have yet to be unveiled, but it was previously teased that it will be Blanc’s “most dangerous case yet.”
The first film, which starred Chris Evans and Ana de Armas, was released in 2019 and garnered $312 million (over P18 billion). Its sequel, dubbed Glass Onion—starring Janelle Monaé and Edward Norton—premiered on Netflix and garnered more than $450 million (over P26 billion).
Scott is known for his roles in films and series including Fleabag, Spectre, All of Us Strangers, and Sherlock.
