'The World of the Married' star Park Hae-Joon spotted in Boracay
Park Hae-Joon, a South Korean actor known for his role as Lee Tae-oh in the hit K-drama series The World of the Married, was spotted recently on Boracay Island.
According to a GMA's Unang Balita, Hae-Joon arrived on the award-winning island on Thursday, Feb. 21.
The Fairways and Bluewater resort in Boracay shared photos on their social media showcasing their staff posing with the Korean actor. Hae-Joon even signed a poster for them.
"Thank you to the lovely K-Drama star, Park Hae-Joon for staying at our resort! It was our pleasure to have you as our guest for over a week, even extending your stay," the resort wrote on Facebook.
Aside from Hae-Joon, other Korean stars who vacationed at Boracay were Park Seo Joon, Lee Min-ho, and Solar, Moonbyul, and Hwasa of K-pop girl group MAMAMOO, among others.
Meanwhile, Hae-Joon gained popularity as a supporting actor in the 2014 television series Doctor Stranger and Misaeng: Incomplete Life, which helped him land his first lead role in the film Fourth Place, directed by Jung Ji-woo.
He is also known for his role in hit Korean films and series such as Emergency Declaration and I Have Not Done My Best.
Hae-joon will play the older version of Gwan-sik, a character portrayed by Park Bo-gum in the upcoming Netflix series When Life Gives You Tangerine, alongside Hotel del Luna star IU.
