Lee Jeno—also known as NCT’s Jeno—is ready to leave a strong impression on the fashion industry.

New York-based fashion designer Peter Do has announced that Jeno would be opening his brand’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection runway show at the New York Fashion Week, making him the first K-pop idol to do so.

“Jeno embodies the Peter Do man—multifaceted, confident, and a trailblazer. It was a natural choice to have Jeno open the show,” Do said in a press release.

As part of the designer’s collaboration with Jeno’s music label SM Entertainment, the much-anticipated collaboration also includes a special appearance from SM Rookies Shohei and Eunseok

Jeno’s labelmate, Red Velvet’s Seulgi, will also be joining the event as part of the guests in the front row.

Even if the runway show will take place on September 13 (New York Standard Time), Jeno has been making waves on social media with his striking visuals. Additional details on the K-pop idol's runway debut are yet to be revealed.

Earlier this year, fellow NCT member Johnny made his Met Gala debut in a custom-made suit by Peter Do.
