'Grabe kayo': Carla Abellana responds to bashers criticizing her pre-loved items for sale
Carla Abellana has answered bashers who are saying that the pre-loved items she's selling online were not priced right due to their quality.
In an interview with GMA's 24 Oras, the actress stood by her decision to price them that way.
"'Di 'yun totoo, grabe kayo. I would sell something na much less naman than how much I got it for, 'di ba? Lalo na 'yung condition niya, depende din doon," she said.
"Well, choice naman nila 'yun if they're interested or if they want to buy or not," she continued.
The Kapuso star recently made the rounds online earlier this month, when she shared that she "posted more items and lowered down their prices" on her online shop called "Carla Angeline Closet."
Some social media users claimed that the cost of the items posted on the IG page don't match their current condition and quality. The fashion finds include Casadei peep toe heels, a Longchamp bag, Hermes sandals, a Michael Kors purse, and Gucci sneakers.
"'Yung ibang item parang patapon na eh. Ang dudumi," a social media user commented.
"Kahit pa branded tapos ganyan quality? 'Wag nalang nagbebenta kayo tapos ganyan ano sa tingin sa mga tao?" another added.
There were some users who came to her defense.
"Grabe, dami namang negatron dito. Kung 'di ka bibili ng sa tingin mo is 'used and abused' na preloved, [well], hindi ikaw ang target market at lalo't higit sa lahat hindi hinihingi ang opinion niyo para ijudge 'yung binebenta ni Carla," an Internet user said.
"I can’t fathom how people can be so rude with their comments. 1. You don’t have an idea why she’s selling them. 2. Consider the royalty of the item, baka nagamit na sa isang teleserye niya. Imagine walking into My Husband’s Lover or whatnot hence the pricing," another one wrote.
Carla began posting her pre-loved shoes and bags on a separate Instagram page in October 2023.
