Former S.E.S. member and South Korean actress Eugene recently opened up about suffering from a miscarriage on SBS’s Oh! My Wedding.

According to a report by KDrama Stars, this revelation came while Eugene was comforting a guest couple while hosting the TV show, South Korean singer Cha Jung-won and Ukrainian-Russian model Maria who were the couple highlighted on Episode 11 of SBS' Oh! My Wedding.

Prior to their wedding ceremony, the couple had concerns with Maria’s miscarriage which resulted in insomnia. Maria blamed herself for neglecting her health throughout her pregnancy.

Trying to comfort the bride-to-be, Eugene opened up about her own pregnancy loss. The mother of two admitted having experienced a miscarriage herself and expressed her hope that the couple would soon be able to move past their suffering.

"It's not uncommon to see that happen these days. I had one too, and there are many women who blame themselves for it,” Eugene recounted. “But I was assured that's never the case. I hope you can bounce back from the sorrow soon. I believe you could recover quickly given your young age."

The Penthouse actress married Ki Tae-young in 2011 whom she shares two daughters with, Rohee and Lorin.

Oh! My Wedding first aired on June 12, 2022 wherein Yoo Se-yoon, Eugene, Bong Tae-kyu, and Yoo Byung-jae come to the rescue of couples to discuss unique wedding preparations upon forgoing their first one. The show premieres every Sunday night at 11 p.m. KST.

Eugene continues to appear in various television projects and is said to be in talks to have a special cameo in Netflix's upcoming romantic comedy drama series Love To Hate You starring Kim Ok Bin, Yoo Teo, Kim Ji Hoon, and more.
