BTS’ Suga pens heartfelt message to fans before his military enlistment: ‘I’ll be back’
BTS' Suga will surely miss his fans.
Following BIGHIT Music's announcement that Suga will begin his required service, Suga left a message for his fans on Weverse.
In his message, he said he was able to “come this far” because of their fans, the ARMYs.
“And it’s about time,” he said, pertaining to the required military enlistment. “I’ll be back after finishing my service with sincerity,” Suga added.
He also expressed his concern to his fans as the autumn season nears. “Be careful of the cold autumn change of seasons. Stay healthy and see you all in 2025!” he added.
He ended his message with: “ARMY!!!! Thank you always and I love you.”
Suga will be the third member of BTS to enlist in the military, following Jin and J-Hope. He initiated the process of enlisting last month.
However, unlike his co-members Jin and J-Hope, he has been "ruled unfit for the regular combat duty and will serve as a social service agent."
According to Yonghap News Agency, enlisted members with health issues "may be assigned to alternative services, which include working in an office for a municipal government."
It can be remembered that in November 2020, Suga had undergone surgery to repair a torn shoulder labrum.
On Sept. 20, Soompi announced that all seven members of BTS have renewed their contract with BIGHIT and will have a comeback by 2025.
