Philmar Alipayo shared a sweet photo with his fiancée, Andi Eigenmann, in celebration of National Couple's Day.
In his now-expired Instagram story uploaded on Wednesday, May 29, the champion surfer joined the IG prompt by using the "Add Yours" sticker with the caption: "National Couple Day! Post your other half."
He posted a couple photo with Andi, which was captured during one of their beach trips.
This came days after a video of Philmar talking to another woman went viral on social media.
In the now-deleted clip, Philmar was seen leaning his head close to the woman, standing near her as they talked, and later reaching out his arm to her and playfully tapping her leg.
Andi took to IG stories early this week to address the said video.
"He can go out with his friends, go drinking every once in a while, and chat with whoever he wants. No harm in that," Andi wrote in her now-expired story on Monday, May 27. "What's shameful is purposely posting and editing a video to cause a stir, disturbing the peace of people and dragging them into their negativity, just for some social media attention."
The woman in the clip, who uploaded and later deleted the viral post, denied the third party rumors involving her and Philmar in another TikTok entry.
“Hindi totoo ang inyong iniisip at hindi totoo ang mga naglalabasang issue sa social media. Alam ko na mali ko, ako rin ang naglaglag sa aking sarili,” she said in Bisaya.
The TikTok user also acknowledged her fault for not keeping her distance from Philmar, but stressed that they were not flirting with each other.
Prior to this, Andi and Philmar became the subject of breakup rumors after social media users pointed out that Philmar was not with her when she went on a vacation in Japan with her family early this month. Andi denied the speculations in an Instagram post.
Andi moved to Siargao in 2017 and announced her romance with Philmar in 2018. They got engaged two years later. They have two kids, Lilo and Koa.
In late April, she revealed that they were supposed to tie the knot this year but decided to postpone it following the death of her mom, veteran actress Jaclyn Jose.
