NFL star Travis Kelce admits making a move on Taylor Swift: 'We'll see what happens'

American Football player Travis Kelce has addressed dating rumors between him and Taylor Swift, saying that he has "threw the ball in her court." 

In his interview on The Pat McAfee Show on Thursday, Sept. 21, Kelce talked about the ongoing games in the National Football League and the ongoing dating rumors with Taylor Swift. 

"I'll tell you what, it's hilarious how much traction this has actually gotten,” he began. While he remained tight-lipped if they ever hung out, the 33-year-old NFL star confirmed that he has already made a move on the pop star.  

“I threw it out there, I threw the ball in her court,” he began. 

"I told her: ‘I've seen you rock the stage at Arrowhead [Stadium]. You might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one's a little more lit,” he continued.  

“We’ll see what happens in the near future,” he concluded. 

Dating rumors sparked between the two after they were reported to be “hanging out.” 

Prior to this, he had already attempted to shoot his shot in July by giving her the friendship bracelet he personally made, which included his personal number.  

"I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings," Travis said on his guesting in a podcast. 

“If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” he continued. 

He furthered that he was "a little butthurt" that he didn’t get the chance to “hand her one of the bracelets [he] made for her."
