Where to watch Miss Universe Philippines 2020
Clueless where to catch the first ever Miss Universe Philippines (MUP)? Just go online or turn on the tube.
While the beauty pageant will be a little different than expected with no audience watching, it will be available to fans anywhere and anytime across the world.
Empire.ph, via The Ring Light Series, will carry the preliminary interviews (October 21); competition on national costume, swimsuit, and evening gown (October 23); and the finale (October 25 9am Manila time) on the platform.
Online acess is at P299 or $6, although you're assured it would go to a cause. MUP has earlier said that part of The Ring Light Series subscription will go to a chosen partner beneficiary among WWF-Philippines, AHA! Learning Center, the Philippine COVID Archive, and the Philippine Fashion Coalition.
GMA-7, meanwhile, will be airing the coronation at 9am (live) and 10:30pm (replay) this Sunday.
Earlier, the MUP organizers have confirmed its partnership with the Baguio Country Club in Baguio City for the location of the major events. It pledged, of course, to follow the FDCP-DOH Health and Safety Protocols for the Conduct of Film and Audiovisual Production Shoots to Mitigate COVID-19.
“This includes an on-site inspection prior to filming to ensure adequate and well-ventilated space for social distancing, sanitary facilities in all entrances and exits, and an isolation area for those who show symptoms of COVID-19,” the organization detailed.
MUP has made sure that they would conduct strict coronavirus testing on a regular basis, wear personal protective equipment, and film with limited capacity throughout the entire production.
