Paul Walker’s ‘Fast and Furious’ orange Supra shatters record with $550,000 or P26.8-million sale
Remember the iconic orange Toyota Supra famously driven by Paul Walker's Brian O’Conner in The Fast and Furious films? Well, it's now a record-breaking vehicle to the tune of $550,000, or P26.8 million.
The sale was made by Las Vegas auction house Barrett-Jackson‘s, where the vehicle was slowly rolled in before the bids started pouring in. It rapidly cashed in the final price tag of over half a million dollars in under four minutes.
Designed by late Hollywood car designer Eddie Paul, the 1994 Lamborghini Diablo-inspired “Candy Orange” took its place in the franchise since its 2001 debut film.
The Supra also features a Bomex front spoiler, APR aluminum biplane rear wings, and rims painted with a Chrome and Silver finish. Fans were also surprised to find out that despite its stick-shift interior, the car is actually an automatic.
20 years since it awed a generation, the car now holds the record as the most expensive Supra sold.
