Tom Daley knitting in the stands at the Olympics is a big mood
Tom Daley is making splashes online once again. This time, it's not for his diving prowess—it's for his absolutely adorable hobby: knitting.
The Olympic gold medalist was seen casually knitting in the stands while watching the women's 3m springboard diving final on Sunday.
While other spectators appeared to be engaged in conversation, Tom, in his royal blue tank top and face mask, looked serene and focused with his knitting needles and purple yarn.
Even the official Olympics Twitter account gushed over how adorable Tom looked with his hobby.

This wasn't the 27-year-old diver's first try at knitting, though. He picked up the hobby at the beginning of lockdown and has been obsessed ever since.
After bagging his first Olympic gold alongside Matty Lee in the synchronized 10m platform event last Monday, Tom knitted a cozy for his medal to keep it from getting scratched.
"The one thing that kept me sane throughout this whole process is my love for knitting and crochet and all things stitching," he shared with a big grin on his Instagram knitting page @madewithlovebytomdaley.
Tom's handmade creations include cardigans, sweaters, scarves, crochet tanks, stuffed toys, booties, and more.
