BGC holds car and art festival for a cause on Feb. 12
Vintage and sports cars would always be a sight for sore eyes even for non-motorheads. Bonifacio Global City in Taguig will hold a car and art festival on Feb. 12.
In a press release, the BGC Car Club said 4th Avenue cor. 26th Street will transform into a car haven for auto clubs, enthusiasts, and collectors.
NEO Park will see several participants showcasing their automobiles, as well as car-related art exhibits at the NEO Atrium.
The Seven/NEO Lobby will also host discussions on art and cars from several stakeholders.
Attendees, meanwhile, are set to walk down memory lane with '80s to '90s music from The Dawn, DJ Mike Lavet, and the Manila Strings Quartet. There are also special performances from the Bells Choir and the Sisters of Mary Choir.
The event is not only a cause for celebration, but also a celebration for a cause. It's meant to generate scholarship funds for underprivileged students.
This year, grants by BDO, Digital Edge, and NEO will benefit the Sisters of Mary School’s chosen scholars taking up automotive-related courses.
Another beneficiary is the Bayani Scholarship program of Fort Bonifacio Development Foundation, Inc., a university grant program for students of BGC partner schools.
The event, which is open to the general public, will last from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
